A 41-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash June 18 at the intersection of Jack Poteet Road and Ridgefield Road in Atascosa County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Preliminary investigation indicates a 2013 Honda Civic traveling west on Ridgefield Road failed to yield the right of way while entering Jack Poteet Road and was struck on the left side by a northbound 2024 Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the Honda, Ernesto Adan Flores, was pronounced dead at the scene.
