Meta goes live in Temple with $1.2 billion AI data center
Meta officially opened its new $1.2 billion AI data center in Temple, Texas, spanning 760,000 square feet across two buildings.

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - Meta has officially opened its new AI data center on Industrial Boulevard in Temple.
The facility, which broke ground in 2022 and underwent a redesign and construction restart in 2023, is now operational.
The campus spans more than 760,000 square feet across two buildings and represents an investment of more than $1. 2 billion once completed.
