MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The intersection at Midland Drive and Cuthbert Avenue will close Thursday at 10 p.m. for copper line installation work, according to the City of Midland.

The intersection is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Friday.

City officials said the work cannot be safely performed while maintaining traffic lanes open due to the weight of the copper line and the nature of the installation.
