AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - According to the Xcel Energy Outage Map, around 1,200 Xcel customers are experiencing a power outage.

Xcel Energy said in a statement to Myhighplains.com that the issue is with one of Xcel's substations.

Xcel said its crews are enroute to restore power to affected customers.
