Drivers should expect multiple construction-related closures this weekend as crews work on the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project and the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) Program.

The following closures are scheduled, weather permitting, for the far Northwest Side near The Rim and La Cantera: Additional closures are planned as part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program for drivers on the East and Northeast Sides: Another note for drivers on the Northwest Side.

Beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, the eastbound I-10 entrance ramp south of the Loop 1604 interchange will be permanently closed for future roadway improvements.
