BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Friday marked a key deadline for the unfinished Schulman's Movie Bowl Grille project at Travis Bryan Midtown Park.

City documents show a $2 million loan approved by the Bryan City Council in 2024 is due to be repaid July 17, 2026, but as of Friday afternoon, city officials said they could not yet confirm whether a payment had been received.

The City of Bryan provided KBTX with a payoff letter dated July 16, 2026 related to the promissory note.
