A Seguin teen might have come late to the party, but loads of hard work and determination are taking her to make a big splash on stage at the end of this month.

Seguin High School grad Yuri Pardo earlier this year won her division in the 2026 National Youth Vocal Competition.

The win allows Pardo the chance to show off her talents at the 2026 Mariachi Festival Aug. 28-30 in Houston.
