TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Over 300 people attended the "Power of a Meal" luncheon hosted by Meals on Wheels East Texas on Tuesday.

The event, which took place at the Green Acres Crosswalk Conference Center in Tyler, aims to spread awareness for the organization's efforts to deliver lunches to older and disabled adults.

"All of our volunteers and community partners, we're recognizing them and just saying thank you," said Tiffany McPherson, executive director of Meals on Wheels East Texas.
