A small private plane veered off the runway at San Antonio International Airport Friday morning after its nose landing gear collapsed.
The crash happened just after 7:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of Skyplace Boulevard, located near U. S Highway 281 and Wurzbach Parkway.
According to a statement from airport officials, the gear failure caused the plane to leave the runway.
