TRINIAD, Texas (KLTV) - An East Texas town has taken a potential first step to solving its water crisis.

At its Thursday meeting, the Trinidad City Council voted to create a Water Infrastructure Advisory Committee.

The committee, which will be made up of citizens, will explore options to fix the city's aged system, which many residents say is producing unsafe water.
