San Antonio's 23 outdoor public pools this summer will begin offering a reprieve from the Texas sun starting June 20, according to Parks & Recreation officials.

Swimming in all locations is free, and the pools will remain open six days a week, including on weekends, with closure days varying by pool.

However, Cassiano Pool will remain shut down for construction.
