Tivy alum Colin Rose's post-high school plans include pursuing a career in the medical profession, but the class of 2026 graduate recently used already-gained knowledge when Case Land, also class of 2026, suffered an injury that could have taken a turn for the worse had it not been for skills each young man learned before heading to college.
It was Oct. 14, and both Rose and Land, now students at Texas A&M University, were planning a night out when Land injured an artery in his right arm in a freak event.
Although the glass did not totally cut the artery, Land's arm was bleeding enough to require immediate action.
