The first day of early voting for the 2026 General Election on Monday, Oct. 19, brought in 5,871 in-person voters to cast their ballots in Comal County.

We love seeing so many residents making their voices heard, but please bring a little patience with you as our election workers get everyone through the process." For the remainder of the early voting period, polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Oct. 19 through 23, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 24, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Oct. 26 through 30, The Herald-Zeitung previously reported.
