KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - A 25-year-old woman was killed late Wednesday after she was found in a westbound lane of Interstate 14 and was hit by a passing car, according to the Killeen Police Department.

Officers responded to an auto-pedestrian crash report around 10:43 p.m. July 22 and found the woman unresponsive in a westbound traffic lane.

Justice of the Peace Nicola James pronounced her dead at the scene, police said.
