Monday was the first official day of football practice for area high school teams, including the four Kendall County 11-man teams - Boerne Champion, Boerne High, Comfort High and Geneva School of Boerne.

All other fall sports such as volleyball, team tennis, cross country and water polo have either been practicing or started Monday with workouts.
