BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Brazos County will have its own medical examiner's office for the first time.
The brand-new $35 million facility located just off East 29th Street in Bryan is expected to be ready for autopsies on September 1.
For years, the county referred roughly 160 cases a year to outside counties, including Travis County, for examination.
