Despite losing its home match to Junction Friday, Center Point's volleyball team is still headed to the Class 2A playoffs, continuing the program's most successful run since 2022, which was the last time the Lady Pirates were postseason participants.

Center Point (23-12, 3-5), third place from District 29-2A, faces off against Charlotte out of District 28-2A Thursday at San Antonio Highlands, with first serve time still to be determined in the 2A Division II contest.

The Lady Pirates went four sets against the Eagles, scores being 19-25, 19-25, 25-22 and 20-25.
