TRINIDAD, Texas (KLTV) - The Trinidad mayor has announced the resignation of a city administrator responsible for overseeing a water system that has been under investigation.

Mayor Dennis Haws said Cynthia Dosier submitted her resignation Wednesday."I want to make you aware that this will undoubtedly create some issues at City Hall as we transition through this and I apologize for any inconveniences," Haws said in a Facebook post.

Haws said he has reached out to the Texas Municipal League for guidance."I know this is more inconvenience on top of what our citizens have already endured, however, I assure you we will take the time to go through this process correctly and not rush into a decision," Haws said.
