CROCKETT, Texas (KLTV) - A Houston County district judge sentenced a former a former constable to six months probation under a deferred adjudication agreement, according to the Houston County District Clerk's Office.

Morris Luker, the former constable for Houston County Precinct 1, appeared before 349th District Court Judge Pam Foster Fletcher Wednesday in the Houston County Courthouse.

Before his sentencing, Luker pleaded guilty to official oppression, according to the district clerk's office.
