ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - The trial for Roman Aguilar Alvarado started Tuesday in connection with the 2019 shooting death of Brandon Swinney.

Brandon Alvarado(Odessa Police Department)Swinney was shot in front of his son after the two returned home from baseball practice.

The trial is taking place at the Ector County Courthouse.
