NACOGDOCHES, Texas - A $4 million gift has given SFA's theater and dance program a new name, honoring an East Texas dance pioneer.

People filled the Griffith Fine Arts Building to celebrate the naming of SFA's theater and dance program.

It is now the Denard Haden School of Theater and Dance."Honoring and remembering Mr. Hayden and giving back to SFA has been a true gift to me. It has made me so, so happy. So happy," the donor said.
