TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - BJ's Wholesale Club celebrated construction of its sixth Texas location in Tyler, near Cumberland Village.

The new club will include a gas station and curbside pickup.

Asked why it chose the area, BJ's spokesperson Kirk Saville said: "We say we take care of the families who depend on us. And one of the way that comes to light is a deep commitment to the community. We've worked with Feeding America Food Banks for over 15 years. We've given more than 165 million meals to families in need. And we look forward to carrying through that partnership with East Texas Food Bank."The club is expected to bring 100 to 150 jobs to Tyler, with hiring expected to ramp up soon.
