MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The Midland Athletic Syndicate has officially opened the Diamondback Energy Athletic Complex, a new facility billed as a first of its kind in the Permian Basin.

The 115,000-square-foot complex includes six full-sized basketball courts that can convert into 12 volleyball courts, along with a five-on-five soccer arena.

Trovocie Jackson, executive director of the Midland Athletic Syndicate, said the facility fills a need for the area and offers access at a scale not previously available in the region.
