Shallowater, Texas (KCBD) - The Shallowater fire department has received $5000 as part of the 100 Club of West Texas Life-Protecting Equipment grant, after it was nominated for the reward by the Shallowater community.

The fire department will be honored at the Dove Hunt Classic Double Barrel dinner later this year, September 11, when supporters from across West Texas will gather to celebrate those who serve.
