(KXII) - Volunteers with the Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma handed out roses carrying a message for domestic violence victims: help is out there.
The roses were handed out in Carter, Johnston, Love, Marshall and Murray counties.
Rep. Josh Cantrell, the volunteer in Marshall county, said the effort is meant to let people know resources are available."We're just out here today trying to let the women of southern Oklahoma know that there are resources out there, and the men too," Cantrell said.
