GAINESVILLE, Texas (KXII) - A Gainesville man was sentenced to life in prison without parole Wednesday after a jury found him guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

According to the Cooke County District Attorney's Office, Francisco Martinez, 42, sexually abused a girl when she was between the ages of five and 12.

The victim reported the abuse to her mother in 2025, which prompted an investigation by Gainesville Police.
