Adoptive parents and youth who need a few days apart can now take advantage of the Youth Shelter services provided by El Paso Center for Children, the Heart Gallery, and their partners.

Under this special program, the shelter is available for adopted youth ages 11-17, for up to 10 days.

The Youth Shelter at El Paso Center for Children provides fun activities, counseling, therapeutic support, meals and personal care, financial and grocery budgeting, and much more."Our arrangement with the Heart Gallery allows adoptive parents and their pre-teens and teens to have a mini-vacation away from each other to reset and recharge," said Beth Senger, El Paso Center for Children CEO."Our team can even help with transportation to and from school and sports, and help with homework and job applications," Senger said.
