Titus County couple fosters more than 1,000 dogs over 12 years, now cares for 10 rescues at home

MT. PLEASANT, Texas (KLTV) - Up to 86,000 dogs and cats are euthanized annually in shelters across Texas, according to Rescuers Without Borders.

In Titus County, one couple is working to save as many animals as possible.

Bob and Brenda Pepper have fostered more than 1,000 dogs over the past 12 years.
