Elevated Expectations: At Aleteo, the view is spectacular, but the Yucatn is harder to find

On a recent visit, I hazarded a guess that at least some of the occupants of the Porsches, Maseratis and even a Rolls-Royce were headed to Oak & Amber, the hotel's flagship street-level venue featuring an open hearth and a "robust steak menu" along with caviar.
