HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston leaders are scheduled to vote Wednesday morning on potentially spending more than $35 million on future street and drainage projects throughout the city.
"Drainage projects are so critical for the City of Houston," District A Councilwoman Amy Peck said.
"These projects will help many homeowners and businesses from flooding continuously." There are a total of six ordinances on tomorrow's city council agenda that are related to such projects.
