Healthy rain brings highest levels in years for local aquifers and lakes

Since 2022, San Antonio, the Hill Country, and surrounding areas have been in perpetual drought.

Each year has featured below-average rain.

And whenever we actually got heavy rain, it came all at once after long periods of dry weather.
