Residents of Mystic Shores are battling the renewal of a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) wastewater treatment plant permit in the Juniper Ranch, formerly Canyon Ranch Unit 1, subdivision.

Mystic Shores Neighbors, a nonpartisan community group representing the Conservation Committee - which serves under the Board of Directors of the Mystic Shores Property Owners Association (POA) - has been joined by community group Fischer Neighbors and concerned residents from nearby cities to raise awareness of the environmental and property rights issues stemming from the treated effluent discharge path.
