SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV/Gray News) - Deputies in Texas have arrested two parents in Tyler after they left their 13-month-old in a vehicle following a day with family.

Sue Ellen Rose Strizich, 26, and James Stanley Tabor, 29, were each charged with second-degree injury to a child.

Timeline of eventsAccording to a probable cause affidavit, deputies were dispatched to a Tyler hospital at 10:52 p.m. Aug. 30 in reference to a 13-month-old who had been left inside a vehicle for an extended period of time.
