COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Ahead of Saturday's game against Arkansas, Aggie fans said the matchup was about more than football - it was a celebration of Texas A&M's 150-year legacy."This 150-year celebration just kind of speaks to what the core institutional values are for this university because they are celebrating it," said Gavin Myers, Class of 1994.

Myers says the campus has changed dramatically in just 30 years."When I was in school here back in the early 90s, I mean, we had 40,000 students. And what are we now, 83,000 or something like that? So it's just unbelievable, the growth of the university, the growth of the area. But yet the spirit that comes with this university is still apparent," said Myers.

Myers' children are all Aggies, and he hopes the next generation helps the university prosper for another 150 years."Kids that are graduating, I want to see them step forth and show that Aggie spirit and pride that is there and what makes them leaders. So exhibit it, you know, go forth and do," said Myers.
