LOCKNEY, Texas (KCBD) - The third stop on our 2026 Community Coverage Tour takes us to Lockney, somewhere we haven't been in more than a decade.
History of LockneyLockney was eventually incorporated in 1907 and named after the father of one of those settlers.
On Highway 70 between Plainview and Floydada, Lockney is about 60 miles northeast of Lubbock.
