SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - A Sherman teen accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor was arrested on Saturday following an investigation carried out by the Sherman Police Department.

Alexander Vasquez, 18, was charged with sexual assault of a child.

According to Sherman Police Department Lieutenant Samuel Boyle, the arrest resulted from an investigation opened in April, when officers were made aware that Vasquez may have had a sexual relationship with a minor.
