East Texas Food Bank marks 5 years, 6 million meals served in Lufkin
The Deep East Texas Resource Center, operated by the East Texas Food Bank, has served over 6 million meals since opening its doors five years ago.

LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin food center is celebrating a major milestone - five years of serving families across Angelina County and beyond.
The Deep East Texas Resource Center, operated by the East Texas Food Bank, has served more than six million meals since opening its doors.
Last year alone, the center distributed 1. 4 million meals to the Deep East Texas community.
