U.S. Rep. Monica De La Cruz, R-Texas, is asking the Department of Homeland Security to prioritize the processing of religious worker visa applications and renewals.
The request, written in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, comes after the recent arrests of two pastors and a Catholic nun by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in the Rio Grande Valley.
