Controversial rapper Kanye West will perform Saturday, July 4, at the Alamodome, according to a cryptic post shared late Sunday night by the city-owned venue.

"Ye live in San Antonio," read the post, which was made close to midnight.

The text was so discreet and minimal, and the announcement so sudden, that it had many local fans questioning the news in disbelief.
