The Executive Women's Club of Kerrville invites the community to an evening of celebration and purpose Oct. 17, at the Happy State Bank Expo Hall.

The annual Baubles & Beads event, which has run since 2002, supports breast cancer awareness and local scholarships.

To date, community generosity has provided more than $372,000 in life-saving screenings and treatments, and the organization has awarded 63 young women with four-year scholarships.
