WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Shorty's Pizza Shack is adding a bagel shop next door to its 12th Street location, co-owner Ted Browning said.

Browning and business partner Kyle Ferguson acquired the former Waco Wonder Wash building adjacent to the pizza shop and began planning a new concept.

After seeking input from staff, they settled on a bagel shop called 12th and Bagel, named after its location at 12th Street and Bagby.
