Heavy rains fell on the area beginning Wednesday morning causing emergency responses and road closures across Guadalupe County, the county's emergency manager said.
Amid water rescues using a boat, motorists freed from swept-up vehicles and numerous roads shut off to traffic due to flooding, the county received no reports of injuries as of about 3 p.m. Wednesday, Guadalupe County Emergency Management Coordinator Patrick Pinder said.
