TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler is accepting applications for volunteer positions on several boards and commissions.

The groups review issues that affect daily life, including traffic safety, parks, neighborhood revitalization and future development."Many of the conversations that help shape Tyler starts with the boards and commission," said Cassandra Brager, city clerk of Tyler.

"Reviewing issues related to traffic, construction that's going on, because we know that the city is growing."Applications will remain open through Aug. 3.
