KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Investigators with the Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect driver who fled the scene of a fatal auto-pedestrian crash early Sunday morning.

First responders were dispatched to the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (FM 2410) at approximately 5:28 a.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, after receiving reports of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision.

Double-Collision Details on Martin Luther King Jr. BoulevardA preliminary investigation indicates that a male pedestrian was walking in the inside lane of FM 2410. An unknown vehicle traveling northbound struck the pedestrian and immediately fled the scene without stopping to render aid or report the crash.
