Sarah Carabias Rush's path to becoming president and CEO of greater:SATX started thousands of miles away from San Antonio - in Alaska.

During this episode of "Pickup Lines," Rush told KSAT's Ernie Zuniga that her mother left Oklahoma for Alaska looking for something different, and her father followed.

"My dad decided he couldn't live without her, followed her up there, which is a really sweet story," Rush said.
