The father of a 14-year-old who was the subject of a statewide Amber Alert has now been arrested, according to the Big Spring Police Department.

Authorities say 48-year-old Steven D'Wayne Rich of Big Spring has been taken into custody and charged with interference with child custody in connection with the case involving his daughter, Audrey Rich.

The Amber Alert was issued earlier this week after Audrey,a 14-year-old white female, was reported missing from Big Spring.
