In Bryan County, the Durant Police Department has been notified about individuals contacting residents claiming to be law enforcement and, in some cases, the Chief of Police.

Durant Police say the caller usually instructs victims to go to a certain location and wait for further instructions, threatening to arrest them if they do not obey.
