Man flees after Dodge Challenger crashes into traffic signal pole in southwest Houston

A man fled the scene after a red Dodge Challenger crashed into a pedestrian traffic signal pole on the Southwest Freeway feeder road near Fountain View Drive in southwest Houston early Tuesday morning.

A man fled the scene of a crash Tuesday morning after a Dodge Challenger crashed into a pedestrian traffic signal pole in southwest Houston.

The crash happened around 3:27 a.m. near the Southwest Freeway feeder road and Fountain View Drive.

A witness reported hearing a red Dodge Challenger traveling southbound on the feeder road at a high rate of speed before hearing a loud crash.
