At Wednesday's meeting of the Brown County Commissioners Court, approval was given to the Rural Ambulance Service Grant Agreement.

Cliff Karnes, Brown County Grant Administrator, explained that the State of Texas has approved a grant of $350,000 for Brown County.

The money can be used to modify and modernize current ambulances in Brown County, purchase new ambulances and accessories, and pay registration fees.
