SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - A 68-year-old Sherman woman reported missing Monday night was found dead Tuesday evening in a creek near South U.S. Highway 75, the Sherman Police Department said Wednesday.
Lisa Windland was located by members of TEXSAR at approximately 8:47 p.m. Tuesday.
"We extend our sincere condolences to Ms. Windland's family during this difficult time," the department said in a statement.
